Binding is tight and square. Corners sharp. Unpaginated. 15 x 23.5 cm. / No dust jacket. Protective cardboard sheath with grey paper covering. Wrap-around label with title, author's name and the fact that this is a limited, autographed edition. Rare. Number 96 of a limited edition of 300 signed and numbered copies. A very fine copy of the last book of new poems published during Cummings' lifetime.
Preliminary page reads: "The first edition of 95 poems is limited to three hundred numbered copies on rag paper, signed by e.e. cummings, of which two hundred and eighty are for sale. This is number 96." The number is handwritten and is followed by the poet's signature.
